Job description
GMSIT is seeking a committed, proactive Security Guard to help protect people and facilities in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In this full-time, on-site role, you will help maintain a safe environment and support the security and well-being of the community. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol facilities to deter and identify suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and complete required documentation.
- Coordinate with the security team and other departments to support effective emergency response.
- Help develop security procedures and emergency protocols.
- Prepare daily reports on security conditions and relevant events.
- Assist and guide members of the public and staff as needed.
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
- Completed secondary education.
- One to two years of experience in security or surveillance roles.
- Observation, monitoring, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing situations.
- Integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Security certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with relevant security tools and technology.
