About the Role Vikara.ai is seeking a skilled AI Engineer specializing in agentic systems to design, build, and deploy advanced AI agents across diverse domains. This full-stack role is perfect for engineers passionate about rapid MVP delivery, production stability, and end-to-end ownership. What You’ll Do Build & Deploy AI Agents: Develop agentic workflows including research agents, coding assistants, conversational agents (voice, text), reasoning agents, scheduling agents, analytics agents, and workflow automation bots. End-to-End Lifecycle Ownership: Manage data ingestion, reasoning, action-taking, evaluation, and monitoring for multi-step autonomous agents with planning, context tracking, memory, tool use, and API orchestration. Agent Architecture & Infrastructure: Architect systems using LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Assistants, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and custom orchestration. Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, vector embeddings, caching layers, and knowledge-grounding systems. Integration: Connect agents with external APIs, SaaS applications, CRMs, internal services, databases, and messaging platforms. Productionization: Deploy agents as microservices with observability, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, fallbacks, and monitoring. Optimize inference cost, latency, accuracy, and task completion rates. Requirements Proven experience building and deploying at least two AI agents in production within the last 12 months. Strong expertise in agentic AI workflows and multi-domain agent design. Experience with modern AI stacks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI APIs. Ability to work in fast-paced, high-velocity environments with high ownership. Excellent problem-solving skills and passion for shipping quality software rapidly.
