Peace Global Logistics is hiring a skilled Automatic Truck/Trailer Mechanic in Houston, Texas. Join our team to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot automatic trucks and trailers, ensuring peak performance and safety. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automatic trucks and trailers, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies Repair and replace parts as needed to keep equipment in optimal condition Maintain accurate maintenance schedules and repair logs Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and support efficient operations Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience as an automatic truck/trailer mechanic or similar role Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Certification in automatic truck/trailer repair preferred or willingness to obtain Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects Skills: Automatic transmission repair and maintenance Hydraulic systems repair and maintenance Electrical systems troubleshooting and repair Use of diagnostic tools and equipment Record-keeping and reporting Time management and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Job Type: Full-time, on-site in Houston, TX Pay: $30 per hour
