BIM Modeler Job in Quito, Ecuador - Universidad Central del Ecuador

Universidad Central del Ecuador is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join our team in Quito, Pichincha, Ecuador. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative architectural projects by creating and managing detailed building information models that enhance accuracy and efficiency throughout construction. Key Responsibilities Create, manage, and maintain detailed 3D models using BIM software, primarily Revit. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to define project requirements and deliverables. Review and coordinate multi-disciplinary designs, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Prepare comprehensive construction drawings and specifications adhering to industry standards. Implement model management best practices to ensure consistency and accuracy during the project lifecycle. Support project assessment meetings and contribute to ongoing tracking and reporting. Assist in training and mentoring junior staff on BIM processes and software usage. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field. Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with additional BIM software is advantageous. Strong knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles. Minimum of 2 years experience in BIM modeling or a related role. Familiarity with construction documentation and project workflows. Industry-standard BIM certifications are preferred.
