Business Systems Analyst - Asset Management in Irvine, CA

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst - Asset Management Location: Hybrid role with 3 days onsite in Irvine, CA or Los Angeles, CA (locals only) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Experience Level: 13+ years Job Description: Extensive experience in Asset Management including Portfolio Management, Trading, Confirmation & Settlement, and Regulatory/Client Reporting . Strong understanding of financial products, preferably Fixed Income . In-depth knowledge of the order and trade lifecycle covering pre-trade, execution, and post-trade workflows. Proficient with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence , and experienced in Agile methodologies. Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, backlog grooming, and collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams. Must have strong SQL and data analysis skills; exposure to Python is a plus. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across business and technology functions. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and influence senior stakeholders. Preferred Industry Platforms/Tools: Experience with BlackRock Aladdin and/or Charles River Development (CRD) . Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal and Archer IMS is a plus. Pay Rate: $50 per hour Note: This position is not remote eligible and requires local candidates able to work onsite in Irvine or Los Angeles, California.
