Construction Manager - Road Marking in Cape Town, South Africa

LODICSCAN is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager specializing in Road Marking to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa on a contract basis. Our company is a leading civil engineering firm focused on delivering high-quality road marking projects that improve road safety and usability. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all phases of road marking construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, monitoring progress to meet established benchmarks. Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process. Coordinate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to verify quality and compliance. Prepare comprehensive progress reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Implement efficient project management methodologies to optimize resource allocation and project outcomes. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven project management skills with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in road marking or civil construction management. In-depth knowledge of safety compliance regulations is essential. Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project or Primavera. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, collaborative team environment. You will report directly to the Senior Project Director and collaborate closely with engineering teams and field personnel to ensure project success.
