Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor electrical design staff to enhance technical expertise and project knowledge. Collaborate with the Office Manager to assign projects and balance workloads effectively. Review all electrical project deliverables to ensure quality control. Support staff development through performance reviews and training programs. Participate as a subject matter expert in client meetings and project interviews. Technical Expertise: Oversee design of building electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, data/telecommunications, and fire alarm systems. Conduct lighting calculations, circuit design, and layout of electrical switchgear. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards, coordinating with regulatory authorities. Lead system evaluations and feasibility studies to optimize electrical solutions. Project Oversight: Coordinate electrical design efforts with multi-disciplinary teams from concept through construction. Monitor project schedules and budgets to meet financial targets. Develop project proposals and fee structures in collaboration with management. Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, ensuring project requirements are met.
