Emcee/Host for Corporate Volunteering Events in Chicago, IL

Goodera is seeking a dynamic Emcee/Host to lead and support corporate volunteering events in Chicago, IL. Join a global network of 400+ hosts and help create memorable, engaging experiences for corporate employees participating in volunteering activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage event flow to ensure a seamless volunteer experience from start to finish. Engage and motivate diverse volunteer groups, fostering enthusiasm and teamwork. Deliver clear and effective communication using strong public speaking skills. Adapt quickly to changing event dynamics while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Enhance volunteer collaboration and participation through active engagement. Lead pre-event setup and ensure all logistical details are in place. Collect and analyze participant feedback to measure event success and improve future events. Required and Preferred Qualifications Proven experience in event management or related roles. Excellent public speaking, communication, and event coordination skills. Strong leadership abilities with a talent for engagement and networking. Flexible and adaptable to handle unexpected situations effectively. Exceptional time management and attention to detail. Creative thinker with innovative approaches to event hosting. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Technical & Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs of event materials and supplies. Capable of standing for 2 to 4 hours during events. Reliable transportation to various event venues within Chicago. Willingness to assist with event setup and reset tasks.
