Guest Delight International | GDI is looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Mystery Shopper based in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico. This freelance position offers flexible work hours and the opportunity to evaluate retail and service experiences firsthand. As a remote contractor (non-remote eligible for this role), you will provide valuable insights that help improve our clients’ customer service and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct undercover mystery shopping assignments at assigned locations to assess customer service quality and product standards.
• Document detailed observations on staff behavior, store appearance, and overall customer experience.
• Prepare and submit thorough reports summarizing your findings and actionable recommendations using provided templates.
• Analyze feedback from previous evaluations to detect trends and suggest improvements.
• Maintain clear communication with project managers to clarify assignment details and meet deadlines.
• Attend training sessions to fully understand evaluation criteria and reporting requirements.
• Stay informed about company policies and customer service strategies relevant to your assignments.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Exceptional observational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Experience in customer service or retail environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital reporting tools and software.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in mystery shopping or a similar role.
