General Worker - Container Operations in Johannesburg, South Africa

Komane is seeking a dedicated General Worker to join our Container Operations team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa . Key Responsibilities Assist with loading and unloading containers, ensuring safe and efficient handling of all items. Conduct regular inspections of containers and equipment, promptly reporting any damage or issues. Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and productivity. Support adherence to operational protocols and safety regulations. Participate in inventory management, including counting and tracking items as required. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to optimize workflows. Meet deadlines and follow work schedules to support container operations demands. Required and Preferred Qualifications Minimum education: Grade 10. Strong time management skills essential for effective operations. Previous experience in container operations or logistics is advantageous. Relevant industry certifications are a plus. Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and safety procedures. Entry-level candidates with practical work experience encouraged to apply. You will report directly to the Operations Supervisor and work closely with logistics and safety teams to ensure smooth operations.
