Hardware Test Engineer Contract in Auburn Hills, MI

NYTP is seeking a dedicated Hardware Test Engineer for a contract role in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Key Responsibilities Perform white box testing to validate hardware functionality and robustness. Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts for hardware components. Collaborate closely with design and development teams to define test requirements and ensure thorough coverage. Analyze and report test results, highlighting issues and providing actionable recommendations. Support debugging efforts with technical insights and teamwork. Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing procedures and results. Communicate progress and challenges effectively during team meetings. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university. Proficient in white box testing methodologies and hardware testing tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Minimum 2 years of experience in hardware testing or related fields preferred. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with the Lead Hardware Engineer and collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers and QA specialists. This role is not remote and requires presence in Auburn Hills, MI. Pay Rate: $45 per hour
