Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all project phases from initiation through completion, ensuring projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand detailed project requirements and provide expert technical guidance aligned with their expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and manage resources including personnel, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and project performance.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years of industrial project management experience, preferably with local General Contractors in steel, tanks, piping, or custom steel fabrication.
  • Proven track record managing mining industry projects with Industrial General Contractors.
  • Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to engage clients, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
  • Field experience is highly desirable, with hands-on knowledge of industrial project environments.
  • Experience managing RFIs, coordinating inspections, and handling project documentation.

Preferred:

  • Background working with local General Contractors transitioning from field roles to office-based project management.
  • Experience across the broader industrial sector beyond mining, including steel suppliers and fabricators.
  • Desire for a balanced 50/50 split between office and field work.
