ABOUT THE ROLE
The Jira Migration Specialist role at AspireNXT is pivotal for our software development and IT solutions team. This position involves managing large-scale Jira cloud migrations, automating processes with scripting, and supporting Jira configurations. If you have a strong background in Jira cloud administration and migration tools, this is your chance to excel in a collaborative setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Lead Jira and Confluence migrations using JCMA and CCMA.
– Conduct pre-migration audits, cleanup, and validation.
– Perform post-migration tasks: workflows, custom fields, permissions.
– Automate migration tasks and Jira configurations using Groovy and Python.
– Support Jira Cloud setup, user management, dashboards, and reports.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS
– 4–5 years of Jira DC-to-Cloud migration experience.
– Proficiency with JCMA & CCMA for large-scale migrations.
– Jira Cloud Admin experience (2024 or earlier).
– Expertise in ScriptRunner, Groovy scripting, and Python automation.
– Strong SQL skills, preferably with MS SQL Server.
– Experience with Jira automation rules and plugin configuration.
