Our client is a fast-growing vehicle tracking and fleet management company delivering smart, data-driven solutions to businesses across South Africa. They help clients improve efficiency, reduce risk, and gain full visibility over their fleet operations. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and client-focused Key Accounts Manager based in Cape Town to manage and retain an existing portfolio of clients. This role emphasizes retention and relationship management, ensuring exceptional client service while identifying opportunities to expand the use of our client’s innovative solutions. You will be the primary point of contact for key clients, playing a critical role in reducing churn and increasing lifetime value. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ranging from SME to enterprise fleet clients Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships Conduct regular client check-ins and account reviews Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to grow revenue Proactively prevent cancellations and reduce churn Handle and resolve client support escalations effectively Liaise with internal teams including support, technical, and accounts to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor client usage, satisfaction, and performance trends Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client success Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Client retention rate Churn reduction Revenue growth within accounts through upsell and cross-sell Customer satisfaction (CSAT / NPS) Response and resolution time on client issues Account engagement including check-ins and reviews completed Requirements Matric (Grade 12) - essential Minimum 5 years experience in account management, customer success, or relationship management Experience in B2B environments is highly advantageous Experience in vehicle tracking, telematics, logistics, or fleet management sectors is preferred Location: Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Job Type: Contract Salary: R30,000 per year
