Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of producer accounts, ensuring high-quality service and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships between producer organizations and Fair Trade USA.
- Analyze challenges faced by farmers and farm workers to provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with global teams to align local producer needs with international fair trade standards.
- Develop strategic plans to support the growth and sustainability of producer organizations.
- Monitor compliance with Fair Trade certification requirements and support producers in meeting these standards.
- Facilitate training and capacity-building initiatives to empower producers and workers.
- Report regularly on portfolio performance, including key metrics such as producer satisfaction and certification progress.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Minimum 3 years experience in producer services, agricultural development, or fair trade sectors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Familiarity with fair trade certification processes and sustainability standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
