Key Responsibilities
- Provide precise medical interpretation between Spanish and English for patients and healthcare providers.
- Facilitate remote consultations using Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI) in fast-paced medical environments.
- Translate medical documents and patient education materials while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Manage multiple cases daily with efficient prioritization and time management.
- Engage with healthcare professionals and patients demonstrating cultural sensitivity and building trust.
- Maintain detailed records of interpretation sessions and follow-ups for medical staff accuracy.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance interpretation skills and stay updated on medical terminology.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics or related field is mandatory.
