Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons in English tailored to early childhood learners in 1st and 2nd grades, fostering curiosity and foundational skills.
  • Support students in achieving academic milestones and preparing effectively for exams through personalized guidance and assessment.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators on interdisciplinary projects and cross-curricular activities that enhance holistic learning experiences.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students and parents, maintaining accurate and up-to-date student records in compliance with school policies.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Native English speakers or foreign professionals with C1+ English proficiency, capable of delivering high-quality instruction.
  • BA Degree in any field (apostilled) to comply with Colombian work visa requirements; degrees in Education, Primary Education, or English Language Teaching preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of classroom teaching experience in early childhood or primary education roles.
  • Currently residing in Colombia or able to relocate by January 15th, 2025.

Preferred:

  • TEFL certification or equivalent teaching credentials, especially if BA degree is outside education or ELT.
  • Experience with inquiry-based and interdisciplinary teaching methodologies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to professional growth and willingness to participate in ongoing training.
