Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and culturally sensitive over-the-phone interpretation between Spanish and English speakers in various professional settings.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all communications, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
  • Document interpretation sessions and report any issues or challenges to supervisors promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve interpretation processes and client satisfaction.
  • Manage multiple calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality interpretation standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance language skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Support clients by clarifying cultural nuances and ensuring clear understanding during conversations.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in over-the-phone interpreting or related language services.
  • Strong understanding of cultural differences and ability to convey context accurately.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace to support remote work.
  • Ability to work full-time hours with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional language certifications are a plus.
