Delivery Contract Route Driver Responsibilities Safely operate Sprinter, Cargo, or commercial vans in compliance with traffic laws. Follow assigned routes to deliver packages and goods promptly. Load and unload items, using pallet jacks and other equipment as needed. Perform manual lifting of heavy items during deliveries. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers about delivery status or issues. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing recipient inquiries and concerns. Delivery Contract Route Driver Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check. Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Proven delivery driving or courier service experience preferred. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting. Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate record-keeping. Compensation: $25 per hour.
