Global1logistics is hiring a full-time Owner/Operator Delivery Driver in Elk River, Minnesota. Earn $25 per hour while operating independently and helping deliver a reliable, customer-focused service. Safety, timely deliveries, and professional communication are essential to this role.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Sprinter van, cargo van, or other commercial delivery vehicle while following traffic regulations.
- Drive assigned routes and deliver packages and goods on time.
- Load and unload deliveries, using a pallet jack when needed and safely handling physical lifting tasks.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation.
- Complete vehicle inspections before and after each route.
- Communicate delivery updates and issues to dispatchers and customers.
- Provide courteous customer service and respond to recipient questions or concerns.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.
- Delivery driving or courier experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving goods.
- Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Manual transmission experience is a plus.
