Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care to pets of all sizes, including feeding, watering, playing, and administering medications as needed.
- Maintain client homes by performing house checks, retrieving mail, watering plants, and ensuring security.
- Walk dogs regularly to promote pet health and increase your daily physical activity.
- Clean litter boxes and manage any pet-related accidents promptly and hygienically.
- Document pet and client information accurately using our online software to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
- Communicate effectively with office staff, fellow sitters, and clients via phone, text, and email throughout the day.
- Operate within a 7-mile radius from your home to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain high standards of professionalism and reliability.
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Passion for and experience with animals of all shapes and sizes.
- Residence in or near the Dallas zip codes we serve (e.g., 75201, 75205, 75225, 75240, etc.).
- Minimum age of 21 years and willingness to pass a criminal background check.
- Dependability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to walk and handle various dog breeds, cats, and other pets safely.
- Access to a reliable vehicle 24/7, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for apps, texting, and email communication.
Preferred:
- Previous professional pet care or animal handling experience.
- Basic knowledge of Pet First Aid and CPR (training provided).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
