Part-Time PR & Media Coordinator in Washington, DC

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to boost brand visibility. Create compelling content for press releases, social media, and other communication channels. Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media professionals to promote company initiatives. Coordinate media outreach campaigns, ensuring timely follow-ups and responses. Organize events and opportunities for media engagement and brand storytelling. Monitor media coverage and provide detailed reports on public perception and reach. Assist in managing social media accounts, engaging followers, and driving content strategy. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Communications or a related field. Proven experience in Public Relations, Media Outreach, and Content Creation. Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in social media management platforms and content creation tools. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred. You will report directly to the Marketing Director and collaborate closely with the creative team to align campaigns and strategies.
