QA Engineer in Waxhaw, NC - Full-Time at TekBricks

TekBricks is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer based in Waxhaw, North Carolina to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. This full-time role involves both manual and automated testing to improve product performance and user experience. Responsibilities: Understand software requirements and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios Conduct manual testing on web and mobile platforms Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Identify, document, and track software defects using defect management tools Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues Validate bug fixes and conduct re-testing to ensure quality standards Ensure software meets all quality benchmarks before release Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred 1 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) Proficient with manual testing methodologies and tools Basic SQL and database knowledge Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar Excellent communication and analytical skills Compensation: $5,000 per month Location: Waxhaw, North Carolina, United States (On-site role, remote not eligible)
