Quality Control Analyst Contract Job in Winchester, KY

Company is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to join our laboratory team in Winchester, Kentucky. This contract role is vital to ensuring our products meet rigorous quality and safety standards, impacting customer satisfaction and company reputation. Key Responsibilities Conduct analytical testing to verify product compliance with industry standards. Perform high-quality testing according to USP, NF, EP, JP, FCC, or customer guidelines, including Dissolution, Titration, Polarimetry, Loss on Drying, Viscosity, Residue on Ignition, Heavy Metal Content, FTIR, HPLC, and GC. Maintain detailed records of test results and laboratory procedures to ensure accuracy and traceability. Inspect laboratory equipment regularly to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Assist in developing and refining quality control protocols and best practices. Train new personnel on lab safety and testing procedures. Monitor and report quality metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Life Sciences. Proven experience in analytical testing and laboratory safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail. Familiarity with laboratory software and data management systems. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Compensation: $28 per hour (contract position) Location: Winchester, Kentucky, United States (On-site, not remote eligible)
