Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and justify automation opportunities by analyzing current and future warehouse operations to improve safety and efficiency through robotics and advanced material handling systems.
• Map and measure processes using Lean Six Sigma, time studies, and value stream mapping to identify bottlenecks, waste, and safety hazards in receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Lead automation and process improvement projects as a technical lead or project manager, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery that meets safety and performance goals.
• Conduct ergonomic and safety studies to identify risk factors and implement corrective measures that reduce workplace injuries and enhance employee well-being.
• Develop and track KPIs related to safety compliance, operational efficiency, and labor optimization to sustain continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Maintenance teams to design facility layouts, slotting optimization, and material flow that maximize space utilization and minimize hazards.
• Prepare capital expenditure proposals (CEPs) and cost estimates supporting new safety initiatives and process enhancements.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) ensuring all safety protocols and compliance requirements are clearly documented and followed.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in safety compliance, industrial engineering, or warehouse operations.
• Proficiency with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process mapping tools.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive change effectively.

Preferred:

• Certification in Safety Management (e.g., CSP, CIH) or Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
• Experience with automation technologies and robotics in warehouse settings.
