Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of seamless integration solutions between SAP S4HANA Manufacturing modules and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). Drive the rollout of new manufacturing units within SAP and MES environments, ensuring alignment with pharma industry standards and compliance. Manage SAP S4HANA upgrades related to manufacturing processes, having successfully executed at least two hands-on upgrades. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, manufacturing, and quality assurance to optimize system performance and data integrity. Conduct Steering Committee meetings with executive stakeholders, providing clear communication on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical manufacturing regulations and best practices in all integration activities. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. Monitor integration success metrics and continuously improve processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency and data accuracy. What We're Looking For Required: Minimum 10 years of overall IT experience with at least 7 years focused on SAP Manufacturing and MES integration. Deep functional expertise in SAP S4HANA Manufacturing modules and hands-on experience with MES systems. Proven track record of designing and implementing SAP-MES integration solutions in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments. Experience leading SAP S4HANA upgrades, with at least two successful hands-on upgrade projects. Strong executive communication skills, including experience running Steering Committee meetings. Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA, or travel weekly to Southern California locations. Preferred: Experience with regulatory compliance standards specific to pharma manufacturing (e.g., FDA, GMP). Project management certification or experience leading large-scale IT projects. Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and Industry 4.0 concepts in manufacturing.
