SolarSys Tek Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our innovative team in Dallas, TX . This is a full-time, on-site position offering a dynamic and collaborative work environment that fosters creativity and professional growth. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes for seamless data integration across multiple platforms. Create, maintain, and enhance complex SQL queries to extract actionable insights from large datasets. Implement and manage Data Lakehouse solutions to ensure efficient, scalable data storage and access. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain robust, high-performance data pipelines. Utilize PySpark and Scala for scalable data processing workflows. Ensure strict compliance with GDPR and relevant industry regulations when handling sensitive data. Participate in code reviews and apply GitOps best practices for version control and deployment. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 5 years of proven experience in data engineering roles. Strong expertise in ETL processes, SQL, and data analytics. Hands-on experience with PySpark and Scala in data engineering projects. Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architecture and data pipeline design. Knowledge of GDPR compliance and data privacy standards. Solid understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment, reporting directly to the Lead Data Engineer and working closely with data scientists and business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
