Senior Estimator - Residential Construction | Toronto, ON

This senior-level role is ideal for an experienced professional with deep technical knowledge, commercial insight, and leadership capabilities in residential construction projects. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative and innovative environment, playing a crucial role in shaping project outcomes and driving company success. Key Responsibilities Lead estimating efforts across diverse residential projects including low-rise, mid-rise, and high-rise developments. Conduct early-stage cost analysis for design development and acquisitions to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate closely with senior leadership and construction teams to align project objectives and resource planning. Enhance estimating standards, systems, and best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency. Identify scope gaps and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines. Analyze construction drawings to deliver detailed, precise cost estimates that build stakeholder confidence. Maintain and develop strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 15 years of estimating experience in residential construction projects. Expertise in conceptual, schematic, and detailed cost estimating. Demonstrated strong commercial judgment and decision-making skills. Proficient in risk management and identifying scope gaps. Established network with subcontractors and suppliers in the Ontario construction market.
