Senior RUST Software Developer in Herndon, VA

Scimax Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior RUST Software Developer to join our innovative team in Herndon, Virginia . This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a cutting-edge technology environment, contributing to the development and enhancement of advanced software solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust software applications using RUST and C/C++ . Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and developers to meet project goals. Engage in the full software development lifecycle: planning, coding, testing, and deployment. Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold best coding standards. Troubleshoot and optimize existing software for improved performance and functionality. Document software architecture, design, and technical processes to support team knowledge sharing. Drive continuous improvements in development methodologies and tooling. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience with RUST and C/C++ software development. Strong problem-solving skills with deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles. Familiarity with industry-standard development tools and agile methodologies preferred. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. This position is based in Herndon, VA and is not eligible for remote work. The annual salary for this role is $200,000 USD .
