Job description
Mercor is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering & Systems Design Expert for an hourly contract position based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement software applications using Python, JavaScript, and C#. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high coding standards and software quality. Engage in architectural discussions and contribute to system design decisions. Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues promptly to maintain project timelines. Stay current with industry trends and integrate best practices into development workflows. Document technical specifications and assist in creating user manuals as needed. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and C# programming languages. Strong experience with software development methodologies and principles. Familiarity with development tools and version control systems. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Developer are a plus. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software engineering and systems design. This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate of USD $70 per hour and the flexibility to work remotely. You will report directly to the Lead Engineer within a collaborative and agile team environment.
