About the Role Join CazVid as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer based in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. In this key role, you will ensure the highest product reliability and user satisfaction by driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts for web and mobile applications. Utilize industry-standard test management tools to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and repeatability. Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with teams to ensure timely resolution. Work closely with Engineering, Product, and UX teams to clarify requirements and embed quality from sprint planning to release. Conduct regression, performance, and user acceptance testing to validate functionality and reduce risk. Analyze requirements and specifications to detect gaps, ambiguities, or inconsistencies early in the process. Document test results and user feedback clearly to support continuous product improvement. Required & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven hands-on experience in software quality assurance. Strong knowledge of defect-tracking best practices and root-cause analysis. Excellent debugging and systematic problem-solving skills. Familiarity with test documentation standards and reporting methodologies. Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher English proficiency for effective collaboration with a distributed, cross-functional team.
