We’re looking for a dedicated Spanish Translator specializing in Chinese-Spanish translation to join our on-site project team. Key Responsibilities

Translate technical and project-related documents accurately from Chinese to Spanish, ensuring clarity and cultural relevance.
Collaborate closely with project managers and stakeholders to clarify terminology and context, enhancing translation quality.
Review and proofread translated materials to maintain high linguistic standards and consistency across all deliverables.
Maintain translation memory databases and glossaries to improve efficiency and accuracy in ongoing projects.
Assist in interpreting during meetings and presentations when required, facilitating clear communication between Chinese and Spanish-speaking teams.
Ensure timely delivery of translations aligned with project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Adapt translations to local Peruvian Spanish nuances, reflecting regional language use and cultural sensitivities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on translation processes and tools.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

Fluent proficiency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum 2 years of professional translation experience, preferably in technical or project-based environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with translation software and CAT tools such as SDL Trados or MemoQ.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site setting in Lima.

Preferred:

Background in project management or experience working in international projects.
