Key Responsibilities Develop , implement, and optimize complex SQL queries and database systems to enhance data retrieval efficiency and system performance. Perform routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, restorations, and integrity checks to ensure data availability and reliability. Collaborate closely with data analysts and software developers to design scalable and efficient database architectures aligned with business needs. Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, reducing downtime and improving user experience. Create and maintain detailed documentation for database processes, procedures, and configurations to support knowledge sharing and compliance. Ensure data integrity and security across all database environments, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers to maintain high-quality standards. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficient in SQL with a strong understanding of relational database concepts and normalization. Experience working with database management systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Solid knowledge of database design principles and development best practices. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL development or a related database role. Preferred: Familiarity with performance tuning and query optimization techniques. Experience with database security protocols and compliance standards. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
