Tax Manager Job in Warwick, Rhode Island

Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted advisor relationships Identify tax issues and proactively communicate solution options to clients and internal teams Stay current on accounting and auditing standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices Lead and mentor staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client projects Manage foreign reporting requirements such as FBAR and Form 5471 Collaborate with Partners on tax planning strategies Conduct tax research and provide expert guidance to clients Support staff development through mentoring, coaching, training, and performance evaluation Contribute to business development efforts to generate new client opportunities Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field Minimum 5 years of technical tax experience in public accounting or related environment CPA, Enrolled Agent (EA), or equivalent certification required Proven ability to manage all aspects of client engagements effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities Compensation: $95,000 per year Employment Type: Full-time, on-site in Warwick, RI (remote not eligible) Join Weinberg & Co., LLP and grow your career in a supportive environment that values continuing education and promotes from within.
