Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy construction machinery to reduce downtime by at least 15% annually.
Diagnose hydraulic and electrical system failures accurately using technical schematics and field data.
Repair hydraulic pumps and pressure systems to maintain optimal equipment performance and safety standards.
Interpret electrical plans and schematics to facilitate timely and precise repairs.
Conduct thorough technical evaluations of equipment on-site, documenting findings with detailed reports.
Compile maintenance logs and technical reports using Microsoft Word and Excel to ensure compliance with company standards.
Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to align maintenance schedules with project timelines.
Work efficiently under pressure to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational productivity.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair, particularly in construction equipment.
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and technical reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience working in medium-sized construction companies.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in heavy equipment maintenance.
Additional certifications in hydraulics or electrical systems.
