Key Responsibilities Analyze detailed patient histories and conduct thorough preoperative consultations and diagnostic tests to ensure optimal surgical planning. Treat complex conditions involving the heart, lungs, esophagus, and major blood vessels using advanced surgical techniques. Perform high-stakes surgeries including thoracic transplants and tumor resections with precision and care. Collaborate closely with cardiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. What We're Looking For Required: Doctorate in Medicine with specialization in Thoracic Surgery and a valid medical license to practice in the United States. Completion of thoracic surgery residency and a minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting. Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
