IMPERIAL CARGO LOGISTICS is hiring a skilled Truck Driver (Code 10 & 14) for a permanent position based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Join our expanding logistics team and contribute to efficient, safe transportation of goods across the region. Key Responsibilities Operate company trucks in compliance with road safety regulations, maintaining an excellent driving record. Complete daily transport assignments efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or issues. Securely load and unload cargo to prevent damage during transit. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status and route changes. Keep accurate records of driving hours, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with driving regulations and safety standards. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid Code 10 and Code 14 driver’s licenses are mandatory. Minimum of 3 years proven truck driving experience preferred. Strong knowledge of South African road safety laws and driving rules. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot minor vehicle problems. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team. A clean driving record is highly desirable. As part of our collaborative team structure, you will report directly to the Fleet Manager and work closely with dispatchers, logistics coordinators, and warehouse staff to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
