Truck Driver (Code 10 & 14) - Johannesburg, South Africa

Imperial Cargo Logistics is hiring a dedicated Truck Driver with Code 10 and 14 licenses to join our Johannesburg team. This permanent role offers a dynamic environment where your expertise ensures safe, timely delivery of goods across Gauteng and beyond. Key Responsibilities Operate company trucks safely and comply with all road safety regulations. Complete daily transport assignments efficiently to meet delivery schedules. Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues promptly. Securely load and unload cargo to prevent damage during transit. Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status and route changes. Keep accurate records of driving hours, fuel usage, and incidents. Participate in ongoing training to stay current on driving regulations and safety protocols. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid Code 10 and 14 driver’s licenses are mandatory. Minimum of 3 years proven truck driving experience preferred. Strong knowledge of road safety laws and vehicle operation. Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues. Excellent communication skills and teamwork ability. Clean driving record highly desirable. As part of our collaborative team, you will report to the Fleet Manager and work closely with dispatchers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth logistics operations and uphold safety standards. Compensation: R210,000 per year with opportunities for growth within our expanding company.
