Key Responsibilities Safely operate and drive various types of trucks to transport goods across designated routes. Ensure timely delivery of shipments while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and provide updates on delivery status. Assist in loading and unloading cargo when necessary. Participate in ongoing training and safety meetings to enhance driving skills and safety knowledge. In this role, you will collaborate with logistics coordinators and warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency. Your success will be measured by timely deliveries, adherence to safety standards, and customer satisfaction ratings. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent. A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in truck driving, preferably in freight or logistics (1-3 years preferred). Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety practices. Ability to perform vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting. Basic proficiency in using GPS and other routing technologies. Compensation: $55,000 per year
