SS TRANSPORT is looking for a reliable and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. This full-time role offers a great opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of goods. Key Responsibilities Safely operate heavy vehicles on public roads and company premises. Ensure timely delivery of goods to various locations. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Maintain accurate delivery records, including times, distances, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatch about delivery status and road issues. Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies. Report accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage immediately. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid driver’s license is mandatory. Proven safe driving skills. Ability to follow route plans accurately. Experience driving heavy vehicles preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team of drivers and logistics personnel, reporting to the transportation manager and coordinating with dispatchers to maintain high service standards.
