Underground Utility Superintendent

Key Responsibilities Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant job site. Plan and coordinate project activities by reviewing plans and specifications with Estimators and Project Managers before mobilization. Develop and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion and efficient resource allocation. Lead and provide on-site supervision to Foremen and multiple pipe crews, fostering teamwork and high performance. Communicate project progress clearly to Owners, Inspectors, and Internal Management to maintain transparency. Manage subcontractors and material vendors to ensure uninterrupted workflow and timely delivery of materials. Drive labor productivity to consistently exceed estimated production targets, optimizing project profitability. Implement company policies and procedures to maintain quality standards and operational excellence. What We're Looking For Required: Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in underground utilities or civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction best practices. Proficiency with construction management software such as HCSS, Microsoft Excel, and Word. Ability to work extended hours outdoors in various weather conditions. Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Proven track record of managing multiple crews and complex projects successfully.
