Virtual Language Teacher (English, Portuguese, Japanese)

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Virtual Language Teacher specializing in English, Portuguese, and Japanese to join our dynamic educational team in Heredia, Costa Rica. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to student needs and proficiency levels. Conduct virtual classes using interactive platforms, ensuring a dynamic and inclusive learning experience. Provide ongoing feedback and assessment to monitor student progress and areas for improvement. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in professional development activities to improve instructional practices. Facilitate a positive and productive learning environment that encourages student participation and inquiry. Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and classroom dynamics. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant field. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with students effectively. Proficiency in lesson planning and classroom management. Experience with online teaching tools and platforms. Preferred certifications in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL, TESOL) or relevant language qualifications. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a virtual environment is desirable. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team committed to fostering an enriching learning experience. You will report to the Academic Coordinator, with close interaction with fellow language tutors for resource sharing and support.
