Key Responsibilities Conduct detailed background checks by verifying candidate references. Communicate professionally with references to obtain accurate candidate assessments. Document findings and report any discrepancies or concerns to the team lead. Help develop standardized verification processes to improve efficiency. Participate in team meetings to review progress and suggest improvements. Maintain organized and updated records of reference checks per organizational guidelines. Support special projects related to volunteer recruitment and evaluation as needed. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong professionalism and communication skills when interacting with references. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Experience with online databases or CRM systems is a plus. Prior volunteering or customer service experience is advantageous but not required. This volunteer position is remote-eligible, allowing you to contribute from anywhere while collaborating with a passionate team committed to positive community impact.
