Okay, I think that you wanted me to explain how did I get the job. Before I got this job, I got experience in sales and working in a call center like for five years. Then I saw that there was this option of selling dispatch services, and they were paying, the rate was a good rate, and every sales was a hundred dollars that I once. And I was just asked to be selling one a day. So it was, they were giving me different numbers and information, and I was just getting in contact with customers and selling the service. Most of them owned their own trucks, and the only truck that we were not using were the box trucks, then we were using them, all the others. And then there was an option to, after selling, that you can serve as a dispatcher, and it was service 24/7. And it was just three of us. It was a small company, and I guess that's how they got a good rate to pay us. And it was taking all of our time, but then I was offered a job in the United States. So I took it and I've been there for the last three years, as well as send my CV with that type of information. Right now, the visas are really, it's not easy to get a visa and I have two daughters. I would like to work from home if it's possible, and I know I am able to sell. So I'm looking for a job that helps me sell and make my commissions, and that's one. I hope I can help.
This platform were similar tools. We were using all type of tools, even it was just 24/7 when I was not working, someone else was working. We had the same shifts, so we were using all type of softwares, including our WhatsApp. Usually we would, it was, there was a big market for Latin people and they used WhatsApp or Snapchat, and we were using all kind of way of getting in contact with them. There are some areas where there is no signal, so we were always trying to at least be checking on them and have it their way or tracking them, their trips or their times just to get sure that they were okay, but And there was a new journal software, I don't remember the name of it, and it was two years ago, but we were using that and all kind of personal way of getting in contact because it was, it was a small company, but we were providing the service 24/7.
Well, um, tell us about the challenges. Well, um, it was more about um money. They were always going to visit people that are used to work very hard and sometimes they think that because um a freight is being paid better paid, that they wanna take it, and sometimes, as I said, they have to compare the miles with um the rate that they are gonna earn. And sometimes they were refusing to take maybe a shorter um trip of pickups and deliveries because of the money that they were making, but what I was trying to do is to make them a round trip so they can earn when they are going and when they were coming back. And usually it's about money. Once, once they have the money, um the amount of money that they were looking for that type of um fried, then usually just was just make it to make them understand that it was a better deal for them. And that was it.

Well, when there are multiple dispatch requests, the strategies that I used to prioritize them in, depending on the amount of dispatch I was having and depending on the area where I was sending the drivers, because some of them were able to go with some um rides and come back with some others, so we make it like um a round trip, earning all the amount of money possible. And sometimes they were able to make more than one trip or earn more or make it very rentable. And I was trying to see if it was too heavy or too long for them as well because I was trying to take care of their uh jobs so they can provide the best service. And we were always comparing the miles that they would need to travel, it was because some of them just focused on um how much money they could make, but they have to compare how much miles they're gonna have to run to take the flights from one end to the other. So we were always taking care of that, comparing to see if the miles that they were going to be driving were um rentable comparing to the rate that they were that they were being paid. Um I was always taking care of taking like the best rides so that you don't lose because sometimes when they don't have a dispatch service, they were uh losing because they were not comparing the miles and so. So usually I was trying to see how much um opportunities we were having and explain them to them and divide it fairly between all of them.
Well, when there are multiple dispatches and the request well depends on the type of products, again, depending on the type of price too as well, depending on the type of equipment I was having, I was deciding which was first, well, in what order that dispatches were going. Most of the time, it was more about the miles and the price and the way, the amount of money that they were earning. Sometimes there were people sometimes want to have the longest price, but it depends on how much they are earning. So I, I'm always having control of all that kind of information to provide the right answer to them, I guess. There was it, for instance, depending on emergency as well, I was taking that decision. It was different as scenarios. Let me see if I can go to the next question. I cannot choose a meet. Well... there were some of them that were having different, like some amount of dispatch in the way. Usually I was trying to do a way that they can go with a container or whatever, and they can come back with the same, like to be 100% useful, like not just send them empty and returning full.
