Set up a protection plan and strictly adhere to it as the vip protectors and as the Principal.. Conduct security risk assessment with relevant components on the level of threat of the Principal.. Check food and drinks given to Principal.. Sweeping of office, residence and vehicle utilized as well as hotel rooms on trips.. Profile all staff members working with Principal.. Do reconnaissance of venues to be visited and routes to be undertaken.. Scan all individuals entering office of Principal with metal detectors and conduct access control.. Ensure maintenance of vehicles utilized and establish good relations with car service centres.. Utilize gadgets and equipment eg. GPS device, Two-Way radios, Binoculars, Pepper spray, knives, firearms etc.. Apply advance driving techniques when in transit.. Engage in different uses of force including hand-to-hand combat when confronted with an attack.. Remain alert and attentive at all times to detect any unusual patterns, noises, behavior, smell etc.. Always stay in close proximity of Principal for instant response if needs be or to cater to Principals requests.. Maintain absolute discretion with all information regarding the Principal.. Identify security shortcomings and report them to the relevant structures.. Ensure constant growth in protection plan, training, technology and methods being used.. When off duty remain on standby and available to respond at short notice.
