Good morning. As a fiber optic technician, I faced a challenge while working in a team during an installation project where we experienced a sudden loss of signal after completing a fiber connection. To help to resolve this issue, I suggested that we systematically troubleshoot the connection by testing each segment of the fiber line. I assisted the team in checking the splicing points and used testing equipment to identify where the signal loss was occurring. We discovered that one of the fiber joints had not been properly aligned during splicing.
