So during my stay at Walgreens, my car was still working as well as my car. Our receiving team, we had three people working in the receiving department. One week, one team member called in sick, of which that day we had two scheduled big deliveries. The rest, the two of us were left to worry because of the piling up of the boxes left at the back door. And we were just frustrated because sales staff kept coming to ask for items that weren't packed on the shelves. What I suggested to do to resolve the problem, we paused and we replan for two minutes instead of rushing. And here's what I did to have resolved it. I prioritized to get an answer. I asked the sales team lead which items were asking for most, which items were selling the most at that period. We agreed to unpack those boxes first so that the company didn't lose a lot of money. And plus, most of the supplies they're delivering in that day, the stock that was already there, it was special orders from companies. So those special orders should be reopened first as they are for prescribed people. And yeah, and then we split our roles clearly. I suggested that we split our roles clearly instead of all of, instead of the both of us doing everything, I said that I'll check and capture on the computer since I'm fast with it and she would offload and she will unpack the boxes.
Thank you. The challenges that I faced on my working environment, working as a team, and how I contributed and resolved. So here's the scenario. I was working, we were working with three in the department of receiving at Payless Myka. We worked together collaboratively to ensure that everything is checked, everything is ticketed, the prices are on everything, and everything is right where it's supposed to be in the store. So one day, it was December, mind you, all the companies are closing, all the suppliers are closing. And on that month, it was only me in the department where three people can work. It was only me. So how I went about solving this problem is I come down, I planned how I'm gonna navigate everything. I set a deadline for myself, planning how I'm gonna get through to the other side of the work. But instead of doing the work alone, I asked for assistance from the shop sales assistants that are assisting in the shop. During the time where it was quiet, I asked them to help me ensure that every item of the box are out and that every item is in the right condition and they pack everything according to their codes or their barcodes for that matter. I dealt with that problem effectively and we were able to reach, I was able to reach the deadline. We were able to reach the deadline as a company and everything went according to plan. And another resolving skill that I had during my work in

While working as a receiving assistant at Michael, we had a big delivery of hardware. On that day, it was the 31st of It was the 30th of the last month, so we had to make sure everything is checked and is GRV'd before the new timeline starts of the new month. My job was to offload, verify, and pack the stock, but to also make sure everything was captured correctly on the computer, that no items were damaged and everything went to the right SR in the store. And I had to check that every item that we ordered according to the invoices is, yeah, is brought to us. Everything is complete. First, what I started with, I start by sorting before packing. I grouped items by the department. I grouped the tools that looked the same in the same barcode or the same code. I packed them separately together and then checked for the quality. I checked if the tools were sealed, the packaging was proper and that nothing was damaged. And then the result was that we processed the whole delivery in under 40 minutes. Considering that we only had 30 minutes left in the store on Saturday, we took in 10 minutes extra time to complete my work. The next Monday, of which was easy, the manager checked the GRV on the system and I showed that everything is balancing and everything is in order according to the inputs.
