Weigh and count finished products as per specifications in accordance with the requirements set out for product that is being produced.. Record finished goods that have been packaged and palletized.. Review packing lists to ensure that all items that should be packed have been packed correctly and safely.. Record product manufactured and packaging required for that product.. Mark and label boxes and containers (when required) or products using the correct marking tools.. Count items that are placed onto pallets.
Mechanical Assistant
Maintain the smooth operation of Goss, Manroland and Uniset machines.. Use 68 and 220 type oils to lubricate the machines.. Mainly clean reel-stands on the above mentioned machines and lubricate them with oil and grease.. Grease nipples on the above mentioned machines with a grease gun to lubricate the bearings.. Clean folders with compressed air and afterwards grease them with an SKF grease.
Palleteer
Supply Hopper Loaders with pallets of newspaper insets to load into the hopper machine.. Pack bundles of newspaper onto pallets.. Receive pallets with stock of newspaper insets and put them at designated areas.. Pack bundles of newspapers from a stacker machine and pack them onto pallets for delivery.. After production is finished, remove leftovers of newspaper insets and put them at designated areas.
Storeman
Accurate counts of received and dispatched stock.. Accurate picking and supplying of stock to production areas.. Ensure placement of goods in designated areas.. Liaise with Management (re: stock transfers).. Removal of finished goods to finished Store.. Responsible for daily cyclical and monthly stock counts.. Ensure minimum/nil stock losses.. Ensure that received stock matches accompanying documents 100%.. Correct and safe use of equipment and storage.. Inform Management of any differences within 24 hours of received stock.. Receive requisition note and pick stock for production.. Check stock with production person and sign off documentation.. Accurate counting of all goods received and dispatched.
