Safely unload shipments and verify the delivered goods against purchase orders.. Inspect products for damage, expiration, or defects; separate and document any unacceptable items.. Apply barcodes, SKU labels, and tags to incoming products for easy tracking in the warehouse management system.. Input all incoming and outgoing stock movements into the company’s inventory management software in real-time.. Conduct routine (daily, weekly, or monthly) physical counts of all stock on hand.. Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between the physical count and the system reports.. Report missing or stolen items to management and assist in implementing security measures.. Keep storage, staging, and dock areas clean, organized, and properly labelled so items can be located quickly.. Identify and properly dispose of expired, obsolete, or damaged inventory following company procedures.. Generate routine reports detailing stock levels, turnover rates, and discrepancies to inform management.

Read order sheets or use handheld barcode scanners to find items.. Walk or drive equipment through warehouse aisles to locate products.. Check item numbers and quantities to make sure the order is correct.. Inspect goods for damage or defects before moving them.. Choose the right size box, envelope, or container for the products.. Add protective materials like bubble wrap or packing paper to stop damage.. Seal and tape boxes securely.. Attach correct shipping labels, address slips, and barcodes.
