Ensuring all work permits (PTW) are valid, approved, and available at the job site before starting work.. Verify that all prerequisites (LOTO, gas testing, barricading, isolations) are completed before work begins.. Conducting a thorough Toolbox Talk (TBT) with the work crew, explaining hazards, controls, scope of work, and emergency procedures.. Inspecting the worksite for unsafe conditions and ensure all hazards are controlled before work starts.. Supervising the work crew and ensure the job is executed as per the approved method statement, JSA, and permit conditions.. Ensuring emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, eye wash, first aid kits, escape routes) is available and functional.. Maintaining the permit at the job site and return/close it after the job is completed and ensuring daily permit revalidation when required.
