The firm encourages continuous learning, professional growth, and the use of technology to enhance legal practice.Role Description The role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Mexico City, Mexico, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting and reviewing contracts and legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing case strategies, and providing advice to clients on applicable laws and regulations. The role involves attending client meetings, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and representing clients before authorities and courts as needed. The candidate will also support the preparation of reports, maintain accurate case files, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality legal service.Qualifications Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills, with the ability to prepare clear, well-founded legal documents and opinions.Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and other legal instruments in English and Spanish; proficiency in legal terminology.Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to explain complex legal issues in accessible language and manage client expectations.Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including handling multiple matters simultaneously and meeting strict deadlines.Comfort working in a hybrid environment, using digital tools for document management, communication, and remote collaboration.Law degree (Licenciatura en Derecho) and valid authorization to practice law in Mexico.Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department in Mexico City or similar jurisdiction is preferred.High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to ongoing professional development; English proficiency is an advantage.
