ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Preparing and entering journal entries as well as reconcile the respective general ledger accountsRecording transactions in foreign currencies and calculating exchange gain/lossAbility to perform advanced financial and variance analysis in order to respond to management questions during month-end closeCalculate and record accruals/prepaymentsCommunicate effectively with international branches including reporting from our offices worldwideCreate detailed spreadsheets to convey financial information, write reports, business correspondence, and procedural manualsAssist with month-end close tasksPossess a working knowledge of company policies, procedures, and systems. Expands knowledge of accounting processes utilizing all available resourcesEstablishes and maintains effective relationships with staff, vendors, and other business contactsResponds timely to requests or issues; provides complete information and/or resolution

Skills & Certifications

Skill evaluation:Behavioral(80%);Excel(80%);Numerical Calculation(80%)CPA license a plusPC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment with an advanced knowledge of Excel and Power Point preferred. Able to type data and use PC for long periods of timeAbility to set and track goalsMust be ethicalDetailed and thorough in work habits with multi-tasking abilityAbility and desire to follow precise instructionsAble to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExhibits strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, organizational and teaching skillsAbility and/or experience to read, analyze and interpret government rules and regulations, technical journals, financial reports and legal documentsAbility and/or experience to write reports, business correspondence, articles and presentationsExcellent verbal and non-verbal communication and telephone etiquette. Able to communicate with people at all levelsAvailable to work early, late, and weekends when needed to fulfill assigned responsibilities

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum two years’ general accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
